Connect it#
In Homla, open Connectors, then Mindcase. The Setup guide button walks you through the same steps, with fields to paste into.
Who can do it. Anyone with a Mindcase account. The key spends that account's prepaid wallet, so use the account that holds the team's Mindcase budget.
Recommended. Sign up a dedicated Mindcase account such as wedge-bot@yourcompany.com and mint the key there. Every run made through Homla is billed to and listed under that account, so its run history and spend stay separate from a person's, and you can revoke it without touching anyone's own access. Mindcase bills per row, not per seat.
- Sign in to the Mindcase consoleUse the dedicated account if you made one. No account yet? Sign up at console.mindcase.co/signup, then add funds to the wallet: runs fail with a balance error on an empty wallet. Open it.
- Open Keys and copy an API keyIn the console's left menu, open Keys. Create a key, name it Homla so you can find it later, and copy it. Mindcase keys start with mk_live_. Open it.
Treat the key like a password: anyone holding it can spend the wallet. Paste it straight into Homla; it may not be shown again once you leave the page.
- Decide who can spendMindcase keys have no scopes: one key can read everything and start paid runs. Spending is controlled in Homla instead. Give people a read-only role and they can search agents, read past runs and their rows, and check the balance, while agent_run, job_cancel and request writes are hidden. Every agent_run asks for confirmation first and caps rows at 100 unless told otherwise.
- Paste it into HomlaIn Homla, open Connectors, then Mindcase, then Connect. Paste the key into Mindcase API key and save. Homla encrypts it and never shows it again. Open it.
Paste the key only into Homla, never into a chat or an email.
What your AI can do#
These are the actions Homla gives your AI. Your role decides which ones you get. Write actions are a dry run until confirmed, see Approvals and dry runs.
Read#
Looks things up, never changes anything.

|---|---|
mindcase_agents_list | Search Mindcase's scraping agents (Reddit, Trustpilot, Facebook groups, Amazon/Google reviews...): agent id, what it does, price per row. |
mindcase_agent_get | One agent's inputs (types, required, options, row-limit param), output columns, sample params and price. |
mindcase_jobs_list | Recent Mindcase runs, newest first: job id, agent, status, row count, created time. |
mindcase_job_get | A run's status and, once completed, its rows. |
mindcase_balance_get | Mindcase wallet balance (USD). |
Write#
Creates or changes things, as the account owner.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
mindcase_agent_run | Run a scraping agent; bills rows x price to the wallet. |
mindcase_job_cancel Deletes | Cancel a queued or running Mindcase job. |
mindcase_request | Any Mindcase API call without a tool (agent groups, effective pricing, download). |
Disconnect it#
In Homla, open the account menu on the tool's page and choose Disconnect. Anyone it was shared with loses access at once. To cut it off on the tool's side too:
To cut Homla off, delete the Homla key on the console's Keys page. To rotate, create a new key there, paste it into the same Homla form, then delete the old one.
