Connect your AI

Add Homla once to the AI app you already use. After that, your AI sees every tool, skill and memory your access allows.

How it works#

Your AI app talks to Homla through one connection. You add it once, sign in once in your browser, and pick your access. You never paste a password or an API key into the AI app.

When an admin connects a new tool or saves a new skill, it shows up in your AI on its own. You do not add anything again.

About the word "MCP". AI apps call this kind of connection an MCP server, a connector or a custom connector. In Homla it is the Homla connection. In the app, its address is labelled Connector URL. See the glossary.

Your connector URL#

Every app below asks for the same address:

If you belong to more than one workspace, your address ends with your workspace, like https://app.homla.ai/mcp/c/your-workspace. The app always shows the right one for you: open Home, then the fold Other clients, connector URL and skills, and press Copy next to Connector URL.

What happens when you sign in#

The first time your AI calls Homla, your browser opens a page titled Authorize · Homla.

  1. Sign inEnter your Work email and press Email me a sign-in link. If you use two-step sign-in, enter your code too.
  2. Check the app nameThe page asks Connect <app> to Homla?. It names the app that asked. Only approve if you started this yourself.
  3. ApprovePress Approve and connect. Go back to your AI app. It now has your tools.

You never need a Client ID or a Client Secret. Homla registers each app on its own.

Two-step sign-in and admin actions. Until you turn on two-step sign-in, your AI connects with member access to every tool you have. Admin actions wait until you turn it on. See Two-step sign-in.
