DocsAccess and roles
Guests
Guests are people or teams from another Homla workspace. You choose exactly what they get, and for how long.
Who can be a guest#
A guest is a person, or a whole team, from another Homla workspace. A freelancer or agency signs up for their own workspace first. Guests never count as members of yours.
For a team, their admin picks which of their roles joins.
Invite a guest#
Admins only. Open External access under Team in the sidebar. Then choose what they get:
- Connectors
- Which tools. Tick Read-only tools only to keep them from changing anything.
- Accounts
- Which of your accounts they act through.
- Memory
- No access, Read, or Read and write.
- Skills
- No access or Use.
- Pages
- No access or Read.
- Access ends
- Optional. A date in the future. Access stops on its own that day.
What guests cannot do#
- Use your dashboard beyond their own profile.
- Use your agents, API keys or credentials.
- Invite anyone.
End access#
Revoke a guest in External access. It takes effect everywhere within 30 seconds. If their own company removes them, their guest access ends too.
The page also has Pending, Teams, Activity and History tabs, so you can see what guests did.
