Two-step sign-in
Two-step sign-in asks for a code from an authenticator app after your email link or password. Admins need it to manage the workspace.
Who needs it#
- Admins, for every admin action. Without it, an admin acts as a member and sees Turn on two-step sign in.
- Members can turn it on. Once on, it is asked at every sign-in.
Until you turn it on, an AI you connect gets member access. Admin actions wait.
Turn it on#
- Open SettingsOpen Settings, then Two-factor authentication, and press Set up.
- Scan the codeScan the QR code with an authenticator app, like 1Password, Google Authenticator or Authy. The code and setup key are shown once.
- Enter a codeType the 6-digit code from the app to finish.
When you are asked for a code#
- When you sign in to the dashboard.
- When you approve a new AI app on the Authorize · Homla page.
Lost your phone?#
There are no recovery codes today. Email kevin@jollycommerce.io from your work address. We check it is you and remove the old authenticator, so you can set up a new one.
Use an authenticator that backs up to your account, like 1Password, so a new phone keeps your codes.
