Homla CLI

The Homla CLI calls your team's tools from a terminal. Coding agents like Claude Code and Codex can use it too.

The command is wedge. Homla used to be called Wedge. The app shows "Homla CLI", but the program you install and type is still wedge, and its installer downloads from mcp.wedgeai.work. Both are the real, current names. There is no homla command today.

Install it#

  1. Install itPaste this in Terminal.
    macOS and Linux
    curl -fsSL https://app.homla.ai/install.sh | sh
    Windows PowerShell
    irm https://app.homla.ai/install.ps1 | iex
    Windows CMD
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://app.homla.ai/install.ps1 | iex"
The installer checks the download against its signed release, puts wedge in ~/.wedge/bin and adds that folder to your PATH.
  2. Sign in
    Terminal
    wedge login
Your browser opens. Run it again to switch account.
  3. Tell your AI about itRun this in a project folder, so your coding agent knows it can call wedge:
    Terminal
    wedge init
To tell your coding agents about it in every folder, run wedge init --global.
  4. Try it
    Terminal
    wedge tools
This lists every tool you can call.

Prefer a file? The app also offers direct downloads for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows (x64) and Linux (x64). A file downloaded in a browser is not signed. On macOS, run chmod +x on it, then xattr -d com.apple.quarantine. On Windows, choose More info, then Run anyway.

Changes are a dry run first#

Any action that changes something only shows what it would do. Read the dry run, then add --confirm to do it for real.

Terminal
wedge linear_comment_create --issue ENG-42 --body "The fix is live"
wedge linear_comment_create --issue ENG-42 --body "The fix is live" --confirm

Every command prints JSON. Errors go to the error stream, with exit codes: 0 ok, 1 tool error, 2 usage, 3 sign-in, 4 not found, 5 network.

Recipes#

A recipe is a saved set of read-only calls, kept on your computer in ~/.wedge/recipes. Use one for any check you run often.

Terminal
wedge recipe list
wedge recipe save monday-check -f monday.json
wedge recipe run monday-check --var since=2026-10-20 --out ./out

Recipes refuse --confirm, so they can never change anything. See wedge help recipe for the file format.
